The Good Shepherd Children's Home is a work of faith which depends solely upon the Lord to burden the hearts of pastors, churches, and individuals to underwrite the work, which in today's world is desperately needed.
Yes, the children do have physical needs, but the most valuable resource that they need is time with a loving adult who can pour their heart and soul into that child. As the supplying of physical needs are taken care of, more time is freed up to spend with each child, nourishing his/her emotional and spiritual needs.

- Please pray for Pastor and Mrs. James Avaritt. Brother Avaritt is experiencing some serious health issues and needs to be lifted up in prayer. Pastor Avaritt has been such a good friend, supporter and prayer warrior of Good Shepherd Children's Home.
- We need 100 new supporters at $50. each.
- We need a new van.
- Wisdom and guidance for the staff.
- Pray for the families of the children who live here.
- The health of the children and staff as the weather has changed and flu season is here.
- For financial support to pick up. Due to the economy it has dropped drastically.
- We need to finish the projects that have been started.
- Pray for debt reduction.
